“EPHEMERAL NEXUS”

"Ephemeral Nexus" is a monochrome artwork that embodies the essence of speed, dynamism, duality, and explores notions of order vs randomness. The central theme of the artwork is the depiction of movement and rapidity. Each section is an amalgamation of swift, organic block stroke performed with a credit card that cascades into a grid across the canvas.

At the core of the artwork lies the intriguing exploration of order and chaos. The repeated standardised size of the credit card contrast with the random shapes that it creates. The ‘misuse’ of the card itself challenges our perception of importance and significance of objects we use everyday. The credit card, an emblem of modernity and commerce, takes on unexpected significance when brought into conjunction with the organic form. This profound symbolism draws attention to the potential consequences of societal values and the power of materialism in our lives.

In "Ephemeral Nexus," the artist invites us to ponder the transience of life, the interplay of opposing forces, and the complexity of human existence within the modern world. Through the intermingling of speed, duality, and scale, the artwork offers a thought-provoking reflection on the delicate balance between the temporal and the eternal.
